This is the picture of all pictures. It is not a
simply a shot of a man standing in front of the Tower Bridge
in London. But this is a picture of a man of God that
just two years ago was on the brink of total paralysis.
The victim of a horrible automobile accident that broke his
neck, Rev. Terrence Motley never accused God foolishly nor
did he give up his commitment to get back to what he loved
which was serving the Lord. After long and tedious
months of recovery and therapy, Rev. Motley is excited to be
a part of this missionary journey. Back on his post as
an associate minister at "The City" and as a special
adjutant to the Bishop, Rev. Motley is a testimony to the
power of his unshakable faith in the Word of God.

The Tower Bridge of London is an impressive sight to be
sure. This night scene cannot do justice to just how
regal this piece of European history actually is. What is
more impressive is that this bridge is a kind of symbol of
what God is doing here. The privilege of sharing
God's Word and enjoying the fellowship of believers of a
different country and culture is such a blessing.
The
food is great, but we must take care of the hair. Just
kidding! The City of LIfe Christian Church staff have
the spirit of adventure in them. Almost as soon as
they landed, they were off exploring the city. By tthe
time Mama and I awoke, they already had stories of conquest.
We quickly got ready and joined them in the quest.
Traveling "the tube" the English name for subway, we arrived
at the famed Harrods. And we just had to taste the
cuisine in this landmark store. The food was good, but
the hair has to last until we get back!
Psalmist
Eneazer Moore and Rev & Mrs. Harsley enjoy a relaxing moment
waiting for their meal. Another story of God's healing
and delivering power, no one could tell by looking at them,
but The Harsleys have so much to praise God for including
the simple things like walking and traveling.
I'm
cheating! The leg wasn't nearly that large. Min.
Daryl Black was both eating and working at the same time.
He planned how we could turn the staff into a choir.
He concluded that we had all the parts necessary for the
harmony. Remember while you're sleeping on Sunday,
we'll be send up the praise getting the atmosphere ready for
your follow-up worship. Tomorrow I'll have a new
picture of this music marvel.
This
is the crew that fed us sumptuously at their table. At
first they were a bit overwhelmed as all these Americans
came wanting to EAT! But kind words turn away wrath.
In less than a few minutes, we all were laughing and having
a great time. Such a great time we had that these kind
Britons sent us additional plates of food at no additional
cost. Remember the fast is finished!
The
famous Harrods looks as impressive at night as it does
during the day. Yes, we went shopping! What
would a trip be without a few moments dedicated to spending
money. We saw, we were impressed, we purchased it and
now we're trying to figure out how we're going to get all of
this stuff back home. SEND MONEY we'll need it at the
border.
Check
back tomorrow, we'll have more stories and pictures.
